%REM works in a limited fashion. Especially when building new lengthy links of script libraries and form events. Because LS tries to compile and not just debug, it presents so many problems and even crashes when I have pasted some crazy references into the events.

I think the concept of a user initiated compile is pretty standard stuff. Let me decide when I am ready to compile. I want to build it slowely, or rip it up, or whatever. If I have to rem/un-rem that just hurts my productivity.

What about when I am ready to "compile" and I encounter a problem. I then have to go rem out everything so I can get out of my code while I walk away for some brain releif or investiage other code and don't want 50 windows open, or whatever.... Maybe my work habit is to print the offensive code and then debug it. But I want to save it because, well, let's face it, Notes clients tends to crash. So, because I want to open another app, or walk away from my computer, I have to go rem out all my code? Or export?

Its just some standard stuff to allow the user to compile Vs. a forced compile.
